What Is Dream Link?
Dream Link began as a story about heartbreak, identity, and the surreal pull between fantasy and reality. It follows Augustelle Arquette, a journalist in a glittering, never-sleeping city — a place of rooftop bars, neon reflections, and endless ambition. After her long-term relationship suddenly ends, Augustelle starts dreaming of a mysterious man named Archer Knight. Each night, their worlds collide — until he begins appearing when she’s awake. The story explores love, loss, and the strange beauty of what happens when dreams start to answer back. Dream Link was inspired by my own recurring dreams — moments where I questioned what was real and what only existed in the subconscious. The ideas of lucid dreaming, fate, and the unknown became the foundation for Augustelle’s world — a place where imagination and memory overlap, and love might exist between both.

Building the Webtoon
Dream Link is being turned into a fully illustrated webtoon, drawn and produced entirely by me.
I’ll be honest — I had no experience with digital art when I started this project. But every day, as I keep drawing, I’m improving. I’m learning how to convey emotion in each panel to make readers feel what Augustelle feels. While the manhwa aesthetic influences my art, I’ve also been developing my own style — a mix of cinematic lighting, soft realism, and emotional depth that captures the story’s tone. I want readers to connect not just with the story itself but also with the journey behind it — watching both Augustelle and me grow with every chapter.
